Just a quick heads up here- Matt offered a nice introductory description of what 180 Degree Health is about in an interview with Tom Corson-Knowles for his podcast show. Listen to the interview below and pass it on.  Full podcast page available here.

Don’t forget to pay Tom a visit as well.  He’s always searching for new ideas and approaches to health and wellness, and offers a lot for readers to chew on.  Matt wrote recently about the benefits of being outdoors, including the upside of direct contact with the ground, and Tom has a nice recent post of the topic, a review and write up of Earthing: The Most Important Health Discovery Ever? Another recent post describes the Japanese philosophy of Morita, which might be helpful for dealing with workplace stress. Check him out.

    • Not everyone wants to be a big, muscled idiot with certain tiny parts….clichees, clichees…

But seriously, just because you like it doesn´t mean everybody has to like it or look this way, or that you can throw insults because of your prejudices.
He didn´t attack you directly, did he?

Or would you like to see how someone hurls insults at your friend/spouse/child just because someone doesn´t like his or her looks without knowing anything about him/her?

    • Real mature, are you over 14, or even female?

How does it feel …Deb, when someone sees you as a superficial, hollow ‘person’ without knowing anything about you? Or judges you for your looks?

If you had a child, would you like him or her beeing mobbed and shunned because some people do not like his/her looks?

Or if your kid took a note out of your book and insults others for pitty reasons?

  8. Oh god I really hate health and nutrition dogmatism. Most of these health and diet camps would have something unique to offer, but rational discussion is sometimes hard to come by. Mostly it just deteriorates into True Believers smacking each other in the head with their respective bibles.

Having changes camps and ‘truths’ a few times I can understand how confusing things can get. Here’s to hoping humans become more rational and less dogmatic, hey, one can always hope :)
