I just read that article too, and I had to pick myself up off the floor.
As a long time low carber, with metabolic syndrome (read: pre-diabetes) I have been convinced that cereals, homemade bread and snacks like Lime Doritos are precisely why I got in that condition. Those along with rice and pasta were staples in my diet. I’m going to have to do a lot more research to be convinced that those things aren’t the debbil for me :(
