I’m a stay at home mom but the most recent thing I’ve been sending to work with my husband is homemade granola bars with dried fruit and often chocolate chips. They’re sweet enough that I can go pretty heavy on the salt before they taste salty and he loves them.
Pretzels are another good snack, I keep some by the bed for when I wake up at night and they seem to help.
For drinks we buy juice concentrates to reconstitute and they’re okay but milk and chocolate milk are the majority of what we drink (whole milk of course). I drink 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon a day (in addition to sweetened tea and juice and whatnot) and while my temps still aren’t ideal I don’t see them drop even after a big amount and I don’t have to pee frequently unlike a single glass of plain water still does. I was VERY happy to discover that as I’m pregnant and I was tired of hearing “DRINK MORE WATER” at every appointment.
