Laura, I’m gonna stick with the belief that our bodies want us chugging milk cause it’s an easily digestible source of calories and fluids. My midwives have seen no evidence of diabetes and I’m DONE looking for things that *might* be wrong with me. :)
I was kinda surprised to discover that the amount of milk I’m drinking adds up to 1200+ calories a day without drastically affecting my appetite. That’s a great thing for me as like rachel, I was having a hard time eating anywhere close to what I was supposed to calorically. Rachel, I wonder if you’re staying warmer when you drink those fluids as they’re helping boost your overall caloric intake without filling you up.
