I think that’s a good plan. I too found that my temperature has gone up tremendously within a few days of following the advice of Matt and the forum members here. I’m probably doing about 3200 calories to 3600 calories or so per day, and I’m feeling much better! In fact, I haven’t had cold hands all of the day today, which is a first. And I get to eat ice cream. LOTS of ice cream :)
For the exercise, I recommend doing the MAXercise protocol; that is, brief high intensity exercise. And if you are doing weights, then static holds. I don’t think you have to completely avoid exercise unless you are extremely underweight and don’t FEEL like doing any. If it seems like a chore to exercise, you aren’t ready yet. Once your metabolism gets high enough, you’ll want to move around and exercise, in whatever form you find most enjoyable.
