Try eating something you really love, that has lots of fat, salt and calories… for me that’s eggs benedict, with extra hollandaise.
See if you feel warm and fuzzy after that.
Or if you like sugar more than salt – pancakes with a BIG pat of butter and real maple syrup, maybe add a handful of berries (I keep a bag of mixed berries in the freezer all the time).
Try talking to your body and see if you can tell what it’s asking you to feed it… fat, sugar, salt, starch, protein? what does it want?
Mine likes fat and protein – with lots of salt.
You could try just eating a big spoonful of peanut or almond butter.
Avoid “drinking” your calories – you’ll be adding too much water with the good stuff, and just dilute the warming effects.
