Actually, salad with a good blue-cheese (or other full-fat) dressing on it is a good calorie source. Especially if you top it with bacon bits and croutons. Yum!
Cow food is tasty. And, our digestive tracts are long & slow enough that we can get nutrients out of it, too.
I’d say if you get hungry – get some cheese and crackers or a granola bar (Lara bars are really YUMMY). Try and find something you can keep handy, so you can keep up with the kids and still grab some fuel for your body, too.
