Thank you Amy! All three things you mentioned are things that I try to do, but they haven’t been on a consistent basis. I think you’re right that making them more of a priority would be helpful. I tend to focus so much on my family that I feel guilty taking time to take care of myself!

I’m not good at calculating calories, but my rough guess (based on today’s planned menu) is that I would get in about 3000 calories today by purposefully eating and keeping myself full. I don’t know what a 36 year old, 5′ tall nursing mother should be eating, but that’s what I seem to be getting.

Most of my adrenal issues have stopped. However, about 3 times per month I will overdo it and I’ll experience shaky, jelly-legs where I feel like I’m about to collapse. Then I’ll have extreme fatigue and light-headedness that requires me to lay on the couch for about an hour or so. After that nap I will usually wake with some energy again. So, while I have experienced a lot of healing in the past year, I can see that I still have a ways to go.
