I have been eating low carb for a few years and effortlessly remained very lean and fit. But I did find it hard to gain muscle, and as the years passed I felt worse and worse physically. I ended up cold, tired, fatigued, no libido, and with all sorts of candida/fungus/bacterial infections.
Now I am eating about 3500 calories per day. I eat at a ratio of 55/25/20 in terms of C/P/F. I am gaining weight at an incredibly rapid weight, going from 158-175 in less than 2 months. I have never been above 165 before, so this weight gain is something I have never experienced. I’m not saying its the high carbs that are making me fat, just sharing my experience thus far
