Started using portable flaw detectors for bridge inspections last year. They’re lightweight enough to carry up scaffolding all day, and the screen is bright enough to read in direct sun. Just remember to adjust gain settings for different materials. Saved us from missing a few subsurface cracks that visual checks alone wouldn’t catch. Solid tool for infrastructure work.
