I got my period back after a year of no periods during the holiday season- and I don’t think that was a coincidence. I’d stopped purging and was eating all kinds of good Thanksgiving/Christmas foods- turkey, mashed potatoes, pie, tons of cookies. I don’t think you have to be too specific about the kind of food, but make sure it tastes really good and is calorie dense. Desserts are my favorite, and I ate a ton of them around that time (still do!). Hope that helps a little.
