    I read one of Matt’s books several months ago but just wasn’t desperate enough to be able to swallow some of the odd stuff.

    But I’m bad off enough now to do whatever it takes. My biggest issues are waking up in the middle of the night, low body temp (96.7 upon waking) and fatigue during the day. I’m on a dessicated thyroid and although my thyroid levels have become normal, it didn’t help with feeling any better.

    So I just read Diet Recovery 2 and I’m now on my fifth day.

    I’ve noticed that my temperature is sloooowly creeping up and the and I feel satisfied after eating.

    I’ve drastically reduced my water intake and I’m eating more of everything.

    Oddly enough I I still wake up to pee in the night even though I went from drinking about 80 ounces per day to drinking 20 ounces. My urine is yellow but I often feel reallllly thirsty.

    My bowel movements have also have not been as easy in the mornings.

    I’m wondering if I’m not getting enough water and that’s why the bowel movements are a little more difficult and maybe the reasons for the thirst.

    I forgot to mention that several of my hormones are low. They seem to be making improvements though with the help of DHEA, Progesterone and Pregnenalone.

    The low hormones are testosterone, cortisol, Progesterone and DHEA

    You need good fats to synthesize hormones – so make sure you’re eating some good avocado, coconut, butter, olive oil and fatty cuts of meat.

    Another thought – you may still need the water, but maybe also need some salt to balance it out? If you have access to “real salt” or another natural salt product – with good mineral content – that might also be helpful.

    Keep going – sounds like you’re on the right track!

    Tina, thank you so much for posting.

    I’ve definitely been getting lots of fat. We’re eating fatty cuts of meet every day. I use a good amount of coconut oil and butter as well.

    I also have been putting a teaspoon of redmonds real salt in every gallon of water.

    The odd thing is that I still get up every night to pee and it’s not just a little trickle.
