Accident & Depression..!!

Hey guys,
My father in law is 62 years old and was a healthy person. He was an entrepreneur and was running some food business. He was very passionate about his profession. But everything changed in his life last year. He fell from a ladder while making some attempts to hang a few photo frames on the top of the wall. This accident made him suffer from broken backbones and head trauma. He was in the hospital for one year. The doctor said that it took time for him to recover from this accident as he is aged. He is in a depression stage now. Moreover, the food business he was managing for years is in a great loss. Also, I got to know that he has an overall debt of $150,000. I know how passionate he was about his business and all. So I’m afraid to inform him about this great loss of his business as he is in a depression stage. I want him back as energetic he was. So I was looking for some effective ways of treating his depression. However, I was thinking about approaching any consumer proposals in Etobicoke to get rid of his debts because I hope that beyond these treatments something that makes him happy would be some positive news. I’m not sure I’m doing the right thing, but I will do anything to protect his peace of mind. However, I would like to hear from you before making the final decision. It would be a great help to me.
