Maybe I am doing it wrong, but I always figured that you eat for the weight you want to be at.So, as an example, if you weigh 200 lbs and want to be 150, find out what the BMR is for someone who weighs 150 and change your calories to that.It gets you used to a certain eating style that should be the one you carry forward for the rest of your life, instead of a constant reduction in what you can eat, which makes the process discouraging, IMHO. It also gets you quick results in the beginning, which is nice.I guess it is a psychological game that works for me.
