Perhaps this is dumb, but I’ve read a good deal of the emails from Matt and also some other blogs that talk about raising metabolism as I was a primal/paleo eater and after reading this it makes me think I’ve screwed things up and maybe this can fix. I am curious what order the books should be read in? Or what one first? In the mean time I’m going to start taking my temperature (I never used to have cold feet or be cold at work.) and I’ve been trying to eat more often and more overall to make my body think I’m not starving it. I went the wrong way I think with “intermittent fasting” from primal and really only ate 1-2 times a day because I felt I wasn’t hungry…

    Thanks!

I’ve read both “Diet Recovery 1” and “Diet Recovery 2”. Between those two I believe the second one to be a bit better – more encompassing, and somewhat closer to Matt’s current views. I haven’t read “Eat for Heat” yet, but it is on my list.
You can’t go wrong with either, but I’d choose “Diet and Recovery 2.”

Definitely “Eat for Heat”. It gets right to point and is very detailed on what foods to eat and what to drink to raise metabolism/body temperature.

Here’s a review of Eat for Heat from a health channel I follow on youtube.
