Braces for teenagers..!

I used to wear metallic braces in my teenage period. As years passed, new trends came out in braces. Now, my 15-year-old son is planning to have braces because of his misaligned teeth and he himself suggested me to consider Invisalign braces for him. I didn’t approach an orthodontist yet but googled to learn more about Invisalign braces.
From my son’s perspective, It’s pretty good to wear an Invisalign brace, but as a mother, I’m confused whether its result will be good as a metallic brace. I have also read that the chances of breaking Invisalign braces are high. So I’m in confusion whether it gives a good result for correcting misaligned teeth. Can anyone please help to make the right decision? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
