My 22-year-old brother has autism and just aged out of special ed. He’s home all day now and getting really anxious without routine. We heard about day habilitation programs for adults with intellectual disabilities in NY. Can anyone recommend supported housing programs, day services for people with intellectual disabilities in NY? He needs structure, social activities, and skill building during the week while mom and dad work.

We ran into something similar when a young adult in our family finished school services and suddenly lost the routine he depended on. The first few weeks were tough, but having scheduled activities made a noticeable difference. I’d look into this NY listing as a possible starting point: psychiatrist . I’d call to ask specifically about day habilitation, supported housing, social activities, and skill-building programs for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Having a clear daytime structure after school can help students manage their time, complete homework, and maintain a healthy balance between study and relaxation. A simple routine with dedicated study hours and short breaks can make learning more consistent. ToppersSky can provide additional digital study support, while a Class 10th Course can help students revise concepts and stay prepared for exams.
