For this who have successfully reached their set point. Now that your metabolism is working optimally have you noticed any reduction in cellulite? I was wondering whether it would have an effect as now the blood should be circulating better throughout the body.

Here is some good reading about cellulite:

Cellulite’s just regular fat, not a specific type of fat. Amber/Kaleo explains it well in the links.

Very interesting. Thank you! However, at the same time I’m a bit sad, was hoping that it would all magically disappear. :) Oh well, back to endermologie treatments because I’m shallow and refusing to live with it. :)

Look up dry brushing it is helping me immensely. I have seen a huge reduction in a little over a month and it is inexpensive and super easy.

you could try something i am trying. aparently bad sleep causes skin to appear thin and cellulite to be present. try sleeping in complete darkness from sleep till wake. any light present during sleep can actually disrurpt it. im using a eye mask :)

dry brushing? Really, I always thought it sounded too simple to work. How do you do it? Frequency, what sort of brush, etc? thanks! And never heard of sleeping in complete darkness helping cellulite…seriously?

Caz, do you have an eye mask you like? I have blackout blinds that I’ve actually velcrowed (sp? too lazy to figure out right way) to stop the light but I have to leave my door open because my 6 year old likes to come in at night. I’ve tried two different sleeping masks but they bother me.

I’m gonna google dry brushing now!

I try to dry brush at least once daily. You can find some great articles online, as well as videos on YouTube. I bought an Elemis brush from Amazon, natural bristle. It takes a little getting used to at first, but really feels great and my skin is soft smooth and my cellulite is looking so much smoother and less noticeable.

Many thanks Nicolep! I am looking at further info online at the moment and will be buying the brush, so fingers crossed it’ll work for me too!

It took a little over a month for me to see visible results. I also read it can take up to five months, probably depending on the severity. I continue to see progress and hope by the end of the summer to have completely smooth thighs. Good luck!
