ModeratorWhat are some of the Crazy-Ass remedies that you’ve tried? I’ll begin.
I tried the Borax Cure recommended by some guy from Thailand on Earthclinic You take a small amount (1/4 teaspoon) of Borax detergent, dissolve it in what and drink it. Luckily, didn’t kill me. Didn’t do anything.
Let’s hear the crazy-ass shit that you’ve tried.

KeymasterWithout question it was waving magical wands all over my body… Biogenesis. The wands were made in accordance with what was channeled from Lantos, a resident of Atlantis back during the day, using their advanced healing technologies. Turned out to not be all that advanced. http://www.interdimensionalhealing.net/top_10.html
Although I did some pretty funny phone healings over the phone with some dude in Germany. http://www.reconnectivetherapy.com/herwig.htm That’s gotta be an honorable mention.

Also did a green smoothie “cleanse” for two weeks Was in the bathroom cleansing all day… :::shudder::: gained all the weight back in 3 weeks too. Sad.

Participant1) NAET- when you get far enough along in this acupuncture/acupressure treatment, you can treat yourself. I was carrying around a mini vibrator to use on parts of my body to rid myself of allergies, often while a glass vial of the allergenic substance was taped to my body. (didn’t really intend for the double entendre, but I’m leaving it in)
2) Cupping- never would have agreed to this if practitioner had been honest about it beforehand. I looked like an octopus beat the crap out of me.
3)Something to do with Matt’s favorite topic: pee pee… using it in a way it should never be used.
4) This one I never actually tried: acupuncturist recommended I eat ground pumpkin seeds to get rid of parasites… but I had to eat them during the full moon. How is it that my parasites can get hooked up on a perfect lunar cycle, but the rest of my body won’t comply?

ModeratorHahahaha this should be in the humor thread! I did a phone cleansing once, too… although even at the time I was thinking WTF is this crap?

Hahaha, Strangely enough, this is something that I have always wanted to try but never done. I think it stems from the old survival trick of drinking your own pee when there’s no water. What’s it taste like? Should I try it sometime, or should i just wait till somebody dares me to do it.

ParticipantLet me count the ways . . .
Colonics and enemas, including coffee enemas
Oxygen therapy by drinking food-grade hydrogen peroxide and breathing it in by putting it in a humidifier a la Ed McCabe’s book.
Raw milk diet (which for me was mostly home-made raw milk yogurt).
Ate nothing but fruit for 6 weeks.
Laser treatments and other electronic devices.
Water fasts, juice fasts
Dr Schulze’s 5-day cleanses (bowel, kidney, liver)
Energetic doodads like the QLink and Zero Point pendants, or energizing a small box with your own frequency on a little electronic gizmo that supposedly creates a homeopathic type energetic healing.
I’m glad to say all this is largely in my past. I still go to a guy who uses muscle testing and lasers.

ModeratorI still think a 10 day fast drinking lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup was pretty crazy. Especially when I lost 1/4 of a pound and gained back 4 more!
I went through a year no dairy, no wheat, no eggs, no meat, no coffee, no sugar….and about 50 supplements per meal! I can’t even remember how I made a meal! And NO BETTER!
I said “no” to the liver/gallbladder (who knows what?!!) cleanse of drinking a cup of olive oil, etc. and then sleeping on my left side with my legs curled up…. I hate gas pains worse than LABOR pains- at least you get a baby at the end of one of them!

KeymasterOh you know I rocked the everloving shit out of a Qlink for a few months too. You’re in good company Jason.

ParticipantHigh volume coffee enemas (basically a DYI colonic using a colema board) every day for a little over a year in conjunction with periodic 3-7 day “cleanses” involving hourly ingesting either a handful of supplements or a cup of bentonite clay mixed in pineapple juice.
I think that probably ties for first place with spending nearly a year ingesting nothing before one in the afternoon but 2 quarts of freshly prepared carrot juice – 8 oz/hour.
I reserve the right to add to this later. My husband insists that there are weirder things, but we are having trouble remembering them thanks to the abundance of crazy ass shit I’ve tried. Man, when you feel like crap you’ll do anything to feel better, no?

ParticipantDoes taking homeopathic remedies while being really convinced that they don’t work counts?
I know it sounds stupid, but hey, I did it.
July 18, 2013 at 12:01 am #9362BJJSamurai
ParticipantI went on an all baby food diet for awhile. Does that count??
July 18, 2013 at 12:42 am #9365mgossett
ParticipantDrinking diatomaceous earth mixed in water.

ParticipantRBTI is pretty silly :P
But to add something new to the list: I used nasal sprays with colloidal silver every half hour in the hope it would rid me of my chronic sinusitis. Didn’t work.
Now I just use a neti pot daily and sniff a bit of oil afterward. That actually works pretty well, especially the oil. -
