I have been struggling with cystic acne on and off for over ten years. I’ve tried every kind of diet and natural/prescription medications available. The best my skin ever looked was my whole life before I turned 13, when i was doing heavy cardio exercise every day, when I did a raw diet, and it slightly improved when I did paleo/low carb/no gluten. I have been gluten free on and off for two years. I don’t know what to so anymore. I started eating gluten again because I was breaking out regardless, I am getting very large deep as painful acne. I know there is a correlation to blood sugar levels and acne, I just don’t understand it. Can someone please help me. I’ll give you 500$ If you could cure my acne. I feel terribly ugly and insecure about it. It has affected many areas of my life negatively. Has anyone had any real success with treating acne? Am I doomed? Ugh

A couple things that may help.

Cutting out all dairy from your diet. You should probably be able to tell in about a week if that helps.

Raw honey to the face here

Lastly I think your best option is increasing carbon dioxide production. I posted about it here

I’ve had acne on again off again (mostly on) since I was a teenager (30 years ago).

The best thing for me has been using a bar soap in the shower with hydrogen peroxide.

I’ve been using a 10% version from Coral Actives for the last year or so, and it’s cleared up 95% of my trouble spots without drying my skin out.

I do avoid dairy, too… but I’ve been allergic to cows milk pretty much since I was born, so that’s nothing new for me.

    Sorry… edit that… soap with 10% Benzoyl Peroxide…

Thanks a lot guys. I’ll try it out.

Even me too a acne victim. But I started using Anheal acne scar removal gel and I have witnessed a great improvement within short span of time. Now am totally free of acne and I have recommended that to many also. You can also check that here
