Okay, let me lay this out for you. My wife and I are expecting our first child in a few months, and our beloved mutt, Charlie, has been having some trouble adjusting to the idea. He’s been acting out, chewing up the nursery furniture, and getting extra clingy whenever my wife and I are together. We want to nip this behavior in the bud before the baby arrives, so we’re on the hunt for a top-notch dog training camp. Ideally, we’d love to find a place that specializes in prepping pups for new arrivals, so Charlie can learn to share the spotlight and become a well-behaved big brother. Any recommendations from fellow pet parents who’ve been in similar situations?

Oh wow, congrats on the baby news! We were in the exact boat with our furball, Jasper, before our little one arrived. Totally understand the stress. Jasper was a whirlwind of chaos, mirroring Charlie’s antics. We found our saving grace with a camp that turned things around. Check out Wasatch Canine Camp. They’re fantastic with these situations, focusing on helping dogs adjust to new family dynamics. Their approach is all about positive reinforcement, making sure Jasper became the best big brother. The transformation was heartwarming; he’s so gentle and protective now. Here’s their site: Wasatch Canine Camp
Hope Charlie finds his inner zen like Jasper did!
