So, as I’m sure anyone living in the Northeast can attest, Mother Nature hit us hard with a pretty severe snow storm today. I HATE being stuck inside with nothing to do and am so tempted to restrict calories / exercise more to compensate for my lack of doing, well, anything. I know I should take advantage of this time to rest my body and heal my metabolism.. but I’m getting so antsy! Would really appreciate any reassurance that resting and still eating my calorie surplus is OKAY.

Thank you so much! This is such an amazing community!

    Eat! It’s OKAY!!

Big kicker – if you start to get cold, think of something yummy to munch on.

My big problem is always being cold if I’m not moving – and so far on the Eat 4 Heat journey (a few weeks now) – my feet have Not Been Cold! This is an amazingly new thing for me.

I love being snowed in – curled up in front of the fireplace with a good book. Maybe some cocoa (with full fat milk)… now I’d add some popcorn or something salty, as well.

    Hope you thaw out soon.
