5 months ago I found Your Eatopia and started that way.
I started the your eatopia method at a BMI of 21 and am now a BMI 27. Im very very depressed about this. I would really like to lose 15 pounds but I know my body can’t handle any more damage. My stomach is also very swollen and I don’t know what to do about it but it’s driving me crazy. I also have no idea how many calories to eat per day. Im just so f*cking confused. I’ve seen dietitians before but they gave me awful advice and I can’t waste any more money on them. If any of you have any advice I’d really appreciate it!

    Hi Lilly,

I was really frustrated about gaining 60 lbs following this program. However, I have seen some health improvements and I feel great about not dieting anymore. I still desire to take off these extra pounds. Weight has always been a struggle for me.

About a month and a half ago I read Jon Gabriel’s book “The Gabriel Method”. I was at first hesitant because I have spent so much money on nutrition information to only feel extremely confused. I’m so glad that I have read it, because it made so much sense to me. He teaches us that there are many factors that cause our body to want to put on weight. It does this to protect us. His method is not about dieting. He incorporates adding healthy foods to our diet while eating the same way we normally would. There is never any calorie counting. He also talks about the importance of working through the emotional and mental issues that have caused our weight gain.

I highly recommend you get a copy of it. I first borrowed a copy from the library. Also, check out his site. Google his name. There is lot of information.

I am down a size in jeans. I don’t weight myself and I don’t count calories. It is really easy. Very peaceable. I spend more time focusing on other things in my life.

I hope this helps you. I wish you the best.

It is a great method to practice yoga and bring body back into proper alignment. In the modern world we commonly come across – Hatha Yoga (standard flow postures with a sequence), Ashtanga Yoga (series of movements with breath), Iyengar Yoga (props are used to go deeper into the practice with great attention to alignment), Vinyasa Flow Yoga (rhythmic movement of various postures), Yin Yoga (holding of positions with support for a long time) and so on. The amazing part is that all Yoga practices have the same effect ? the practice of Yoga Asana makes the spine fully functional in all six directions i.e., front & back, side to side and twisting in the opposite directions). The practice of Yoga is not limited only to the physical body, it spreads into our whole life, and if you would like to study yoga professionally based on my experience, I suggest you join yoga courses in Kerala. It will help you to learn yoga from the experienced professionals.
