Is this what extreme hunger feels like? I think I’ve eaten around 3500 calories today but I feel like a bottomless pit. It’s like, after eating 1200 calories at lunch, I don’t feel satisfied at all. In fact I feel just as hungry as I did before I started eating lunch. It’s like I didn’t eat at all, and my stomach feels empty. It’s been like that the whole day, despite eating something at least every hour. I just keep feeling as hungry as I did before eating and even as I finish eating, I’m thinking about when I’ll be eating next. It’s rather distressing…

When I was recovering from an ED and finally gave myself permission to eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, yes, I felt like that. It will stop eventually, I promise :)

Dania, 3500 isn’t extreme hunger… it is not as much food as you are thinking..ESPECIALLY for someone recovering. Extreme Hunger comes in at about 6-10,000 cals. I am in recovery and experience this inability to get full as well, but it does get better :) Have you visited the youreatopia website?

BauerPower – Yes, I think I meant more like is this ‘bottomless pit’ feeling what extreme hunger feels like. I agree that 3500 isn’t as much as I might think…I used to eat probably around 3000 before I started any kind of restricting. I have visited the youreatopia website, I’ve read lots of the articles and have been lurking the forums for quite a while :) I was just thinking that I’m going to finally post there and introduce myself!

It’s important to remember the significance of maintaining a balanced diet and consuming nutritious meals in moments like these. Speaking of food-related matters if you ever find yourself overwhelmed with academic tasks, such as a business intelligence assignment, consider a reliable business intelligence assignment service that can provide expert assistance. Taking care of our physical and intellectual well-being is essential for success and satisfaction.

communication assignment topics could focus on how society addresses extreme hunger. Poverty affects an individual’s ability to maintain proper nutrition. Exploring how mental health and nutrition are related could further deepen the conversation. Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence are necessary to create meaningful dialogue around extreme hunger.
