I have an excuse though, fever! Flu! Sick! Just wondering if anyone knows if it is best to keep consuming the calorie quota while sick or back it off? And what about fluids? Any advice would be welcoming.
The symptoms can definitely be eliminated faster with fasting and stuff like that. That doesn’t mean it’s the right approach (more like a good way to develop a chronic infection). I’d keep the food coming in and temps high if your body is not rejecting food and you have a decent appetite. Incinerate them lil’ bugs.
Thanks heaps for your reply. I was starving first thing in the morning but was too sick to drag my ass down stairs to make something. Got your reply at midday so decided to get on it. Didn’t make my usual 3000, did around 2000. Fever was roaring. Was craving ice cream, been avoiding the crap laden stuff, succumbed in my weakened state. Instantly my headache went away which was the best thing to happen since the bugs got the best of me.
