I just noticed that my urine was clearish after breakfast and my temp didn’t go up at all. I think it might have been because my breakfast wasn’t as warming as I thought. This is what I had: One egg cooked in butter with salt and a little goat cheese, zen bakery muffin toasted with butter, full fat cottage cheese (maybe 1/4 cup) with a strawberry and small bit honey. I feel like it was the cottage cheese but I could be wrong. Any thoughts?

Did you get crappy sleep last night? That seems to be a pretty respectable breakfast overall, although a little higher in fat and protein than what I would generally advocate for most (not all) at breakfast time. I really enjoy cottage cheese personally, as well as yoghurt (sort of the fast foods of the animal kingdom).

I didn’t have the best night sleep so maybe that’s it. I took a nap yesterday and I think that messed up my sleep.

Since that seems a little higher in fat and protein for breakfast, what would you suggest? I’ve read your books so I know that you have mentioned whatever you are in the mood for such as hot dog and ice cream even but that seems high in protein and fat. What would be an ideal breakfast?

@Matt do you recommend saving most fat and maybe protein,to dinner or? I read somewhere ray peat kinda recommended the same only,if im.remembering correctly, more protein&carb during the day and in evening something fat&sugary?
