I remember seeing a couple of people in this forum (Rob was one, I believe) who recommended Greek yogurt. I was curious why this was recommended instead of regular yogurt. Is it because it’s higher in protein?

I went out to the store tonight and decided to pick up a few Greek yogurt cups. These things are great! The high protein is balanced out with some fruit and sugar. They make a perfect snack.

I agree! I think Greek yogurt is really tasty and I prefer it over regular yogurt.

@David – yep, I love me some Greek yogurt, and do eat it for the protein as well. Something like 20g per cup or so. I find it’s really great for weight training and a way to get in quality protein with a more favorable amino acid profile than muscle meat.

I usually add a good bit of maple syrup and sometimes raisins or dates. Along with some oatmeal in the morning, that’s a nice hearty meal.

Yea, the protein is great, but after a few bites I just can’t handle the consistency. It’s good in a smoothie or something though.

It seems to be sold fat free around where I live, and I want fat included because it is good for me and tastes good.
