Hi Everyone…I am fairly new to this site, and have been eating the food for the past couple weeks. I feel pretty great and my temperature is rising! I am just curious if anyone here has done much research on autoimmune conditions and how that might relate to low metabolism? I was following a low carb diet for the past year and tried autoimmune paleo for my hashimoto’s for awhile..but I feel like I was way more sensitive to foods while low carb. I also felt stressed out trying to figure out which foods were affecting me. All the research I’m trying to do leads me back to the idea of leaky gut and how you MUST eliminate gluten if you have hashimoto’s. I don’t feel particularly worse (and I don’t have terrible symptoms anyway) when I eat gluten, but I guess some of the extreme paleo thoughts are still rattling around my head. I love the idea of upping my metabolism and hoping my body will do it’s own healing that way, but just wondering if someone with hashimoto’s has any thoughts to share.
