My temp has been 98.3-98.6 for the last several months but I am so sensitive to fodmaps and fructose that I cannot eat any vegetables, fruits, spices or nuts except for bananas and cucumbers. I am constantly bloated and have stomach cramp poo because it is impossible to avoid these things all the time. What do I eat? Animal foods, starches, herbs. Its pretty miserable, going out to eat always ends in misery for me.

I saw a functional nutritionist before reading Diet Recovery and he did a stool test and it showed a yeast overgrowth ( I guess Candida can be real?!) took some antifungal supplements like black walnut, oregano oil, caprylic acid. Of course he wanted me to only eat meat and non-starchy veggies, which I did until I found 180 health. My temp at the time was like 96.5. My temp is now up but the supplements don’t do anything. Perhaps I could try a prescription targeted antifungal? See a naturopath? (I don’t want to go back to the paleo guy). See a real doctor (who knows nothing about nutrition/health)? Any suggestions?

Quark- you probably got the email from Matt about the 180d radio episode. In addition to asking this here, I think it might be a good idea to include this question in Matt’s facebook thread so hopefully it gets answered on the radio show as well.

Anti-fungal prescriptions will help but it is highly likely you will have rebound overgrowth. Have you started a probiotic supplements? (Three-lac is good but VERY powerful). Also, your diet should be adjusted temporarily. My brother had overgrowth and after the elimination diet and probiotic the stuff that came out of him (sorry, TMI) was crazzzzy.
