Is there a temperature I should be shooting for? Mine is typically 97.7-98.4 throughout the day. Ive been ETF for over a year and am still not feeling very good. Should I shoot for higher temps? Hands and feet are always warm.

My personal experience is that my temps never get to the 98.6 range unless I’m in the second phase of my cycle or pregnant. Real story: went to the doctor for some routine tests because I was about to lose my insurance. Doctor took my temperature and it was 98.6. I thought “crap”. Sure enough I was 3.5 weeks pregnant. I was hyperthyroid once for a couple of months and felt like I was going to die at 99.5 degrees. So, I think that some people just run cooler than others.
It’s possible that your other symptoms (“not feeling very good”) aren’t related to your temperature/metabolism.

I have been shooting for 98.6 and I never get there anymore. I have been eating the food for 5 months, got my morning temps up 1 degree to 97.7, and that is where I am stuck. I think because I am older it is harder to get there. Over winter it was a little easier to see higher temps after eating certain foods but now not so much. Don’t know why. I am actually excited when I get 98.1 or higher.
