    Ok, so yesterday I was feeling tired after morning chores. My usual, “must take nap” feeling that I got constantly with refeeding but has become rare these days. I had also had a spell that morning where I stretched really hard and nearly passed out lol. i mean i went to the ground kinda halfthere. Now I found recently that sometimes some carbs will do the trick and bring me out of an energy lull. But that was the afternoon kind. Anyway, so I ate a big meal of oatmeal and toast with butter and lots of salt and sugar. I even took some extra salt alone since I have been sweating like crazy lately, running and working outside, I can soak three shirts in a day sometimes. So that meal just knocked me out, not what I was hoping for. Great so I decided to take a nap, no getting around it. Found I couldnt quite sleep but I chilled for a bit. Got up did t feel much better. Kept feeling like I wanted something, but not sugar, I was full I did t need food. After a few minutes, I figured it out! Water! I’m an idiot. I drank like three big glasses of water and perked up like a wilted plant. I guess I had forgotten that kind of thirsty or something. Not the “I just exerted myself in the heat” thirsty, but the kind of mild back of the mouth thirsty? A little hunger for water. Man I felt stupid. But now I’m paying more mind to it.

    Oh, I alo took my blood pressure and it was like 127 over 72 or something. I should have known I didn’t have a salt problem. My temp was good too.

    Haha thats great. I guess after so much time thinking about salt and sugar and cutting fluids you forget what it feels like to be actually thirsty… I cant wait to be back to drinking more fluids!

    Im a bit excited this morning. My temps after breakfast havent been amazing for a while, but this morning I was in a rush so I had two big bowls of ‘fruit loops’ (kids cereal) with raw milk. ITs now 10am and I just checked my temp and its 37.2C

    I havent had that before!

    Now for eggs and potatoes.. nom nom nom

    How long have you been working at all of this Ashley? With refeeding etc?

    I started back in mid March. I was in pretty crummy metabolic shape back then after low calorie ketosis. Oh and some potato dieting lol. I feel worlds better these days. Awesome temp! Had to convert it :)

    I can relate. I constantly feel like I’m thirsty (because I have equated dry mouth with thirst since forever) but it’s very hard for me to tell if what I need is salt/sugar/calories or if what I need is water. And if I choose wrong, too bad for me. Has anyone else figured out a good way to tell without having to spend half the day experimenting?

    PS: It’s so great that your temps are up and you’re feeling better! It does feel so incredibly nice to finally just nourish oneself, after all that dieting.
