Hi. I’m trying to improve my Portuguese by watching local movies, but I waste too much time pausing to look up slang and idioms in a separate dictionary app. Is there a more efficient way to study with video content?
Hello! I used to waste time doing that too until I found Lingopie. It is a video-based language platform designed specifically to solve this problem. When you watch a show there, you just hover over any word in the subtitles to get an immediate pop-up definition, and the video pauses automatically. It also includes short video clips in your review flashcards so you remember the context. It made my study sessions much faster and more productive.
