About 5 years ago, I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (IC). I started to drink about 7-9 sixteen ounce bottles of water a day. In addition, I began a 3 mile a day running program. My condition cleared up totally with the exception of drinking diet soft drinks. If I drank even one, everything came back until I was able to flush my system. The winter after I started this, I was cold—really cold!!!! I now have all of the symptoms related to Raynaud’s Syndrome. I saw a picture of someone’s hands just like mine on Facebook. Underneath, someone suggested reading “Eat For Heat.” I have tried the reduced water and warming foods for the past three days. Great success!!! My hands are so much better and I am probably as warm as I am going to get living in New Hampshire. HOWEVER, last night while laying in bed that terrible IC pain started. UGH!!! It is back!!!! What do I do? Do I have to pick between one pain or the other? I have upped the amount of water to douse the pain, but I feel the cold creeping in. HELP!!!!
