Hey, everyone. I am planning to undergo Lasik surgery as my eyesight is -1.5 and I hate using glasses. Last day I just asked my friend who is an ophthalmologist whether there will be any constraints for carrying out? She told that I can undergo only after undergoing three test namely Schirmer test, pentacam and fundus check up. Is it necessary to undergo these test? I am just 23 years old. I live in Toronto. I just want to know whether I will be able to undergo LASIK eye surgery if I have a positive result for the same. If the result is negative, what can be done towards it? I don’t want to use correcting glass and contact lenses anymore. So I want to undergo LASIK surgery as soon as possible. I am planning to undergo the initial test next day. So that I can carry out my Lasik surgery before my Europe trip in June. Is there any problem in traveling without taking rest? Should I take one week off from my work?
