I’m normally one of those thirsty all the time water guzzlers. I’ve taken Matt’s advice though and it does work for me, to take in more salt if I drink and try not to drink much plain water. I’m less thirsty and don’t have to run to the bathroom a million times.
However, I’m pregnant and nursing (lightly), I also live in the desert and it’s HOT. When I test (urine and blood) it show I’m dehydrated, not a lot though.
Is this right? I’ve been getting braxton hicks already at only 15w (had em a lot w/my others too), and I think that’s a sign you need more water (and mag maybe). Thoughts/experiences?

I found that after my metabolism got higher, I had to start drinking more liquid again. I am back to drinking as much fluid as before I refed, without all the peeing and whatnot. Yes you probably need to drink more.

Maybe not necessarily a lot more but some more. Are you thirsty?

Thanks Ashley, maybe that’s what it is. Yes, I’m thirsty, always, but the more I drink the more thirsty I am :(

I definitely always defer to the body on stuff like this, especially while pregnant! Make sure to tune in and listen to your body above what other outside sources are telling you is “right”.
