Looking for dental implants

I fell off my bike when I was 18, and broke one of my incisors. Since then I have an empty space in my teeth. I didn’t care much before because it is only broken in half. It didn’t give me any trouble except the glaring from people who talk to me for the first time. But I got engaged recently, and I don’t want people to catch me in a broken tooth in my wedding albums. I thought of getting dentures. But I heard it is not so effective. My fiance asked me to get a dental implant from Mississauga. She says that it’d save a lot of time on constant visits to a dentist in the future. I searched for options for the same and have found a reasonable one. However, I have discovered implanting one would take a lot of time, and I don’t have a lot of time, given my wedding prep. I just wanted to know from people who have got dental implants before. How long does it typically take to have a dental implant? Will it take more than six months? Will I be having any side effects during that time? Please give me your insights. Thank you.
