We love Point Dume Beach for this, because most people go to Santa Monica, and we have more opportunities to spend time in peace and quiet. At first, I was intrigued by the rock I saw there, and I immediately thought that it would offer picturesque views. When we sailed closer, we saw sea lions there, and the children were thrilled to meet these animals.
