Just wondering if anyone has any comments on these guys.
I know what you see isn’t always what you get. Just because they are doing crazy ultra distances doesn’t mean they are healthy or dont have health issues. But I just noticed they both had something in common. They went from overweight to super fit.. Do you think it could be something to do with their past that allows them to do what they are doing now?
Be it healthy or not, I still find it inspiring..

I think the David Goggins one looks pretty cool. The Rich Roll one – wow. That’s upsetting. Guy went from exceptionally healthy-looking 40-year old that looked 35 to disgusting-looking 45-year old that looks 50 and extremely anorexic. His body doesn’t look good. It’s like a total waste of leanness.

It’s known in the National Weight Control Registry (an organization keeping track of people who have lost lots of weight and kept it off for more than 5 years), that very high levels of physical activity is a recurring theme. Most who successfully keep weight off long-term exercise for several hours a day and never give it up.

Yeah, I saw Rich Roll as well some time ago- he looks prematurely aged to me as well.

I think what makes goggins even cooler is that I’ve never found any info on what the guy eats. Roll don’t look healthy. Reminds me of myself at the peak if my paleo faleo

Rich Roll has an awesome name though. It sounds like that might not be his birth name. If he changed it to that, then I do indeed find him inspiring!
