Hi, I am suffering from sciatica pain. I have a shooting pain starting from the lower back and extending down the back of both the legs. The pain is very distressing, I can’t even walk, sit or stand due to this. Then, I consulted a physician. He told me to take an MRI. After diagnosis, he told me that this is sciatica pain and this is due to the damage to the spinal disc and it leads to swelling around the sciatic nerve. He told me to consult a physiotherapist for this. They will learn some pain relief exercises and manual therapies. He also told me that some yoga postures can provide beneficial results for sciatica pain. He suggested me a clinic in North York for undergoing physiotherapy treatments. I would like to take an appointment from that clinic. But before undergoing the treatment, I would like to know more about this treatments. Will this procedure hurt? I read somewhere that physiotherapy procedures will hurt. I am really scared of pain. I can’t afford this pain too. Is it possible for me to try yoga along with this treatment? If anybody knows about this, please help me with your replies.
