I wanted to make a simple list of foods that we have found to be low PUFA and low in synthetic junk, but calorically dense and easy to find. It would be great if people could copy the previous on-going list to your new comment when adding new items.

*Costco Organic Animal Crackers (mix of palm > sunflower oil)
*Honest Chips (organic coconut oil chips; hard to find except online)
*Trader Joe’s Cats Cookies (palm oil; not organic)

I will certainly get back to this list, as I have just started looking for the same. Also, I work at Trader Joe’s…so I always catch myself skimming the labels for the usual suspects…sunflower oil, canola oil, etc.

Pick up their organic pop tarts! 2.49 a pack and they are 200 cals a pop. Made with palm oil as the only added oil!!

I wanted to add an item to your list that happens to have the benefit of the salt/starch combo:

*Trader Joe’s Honey Whole Wheat Pretzel sticks (palm oil)

*Costco Organic Animal Crackers (mix of palm > sunflower oil)
*Honest Chips (organic coconut oil chips; hard to find except online)
*Trader Joe’s Cats Cookies (palm oil; not organic)

*Nature’s Path Organic Toaster Pastries (palm oil)

Original flavor bugles! Made with coconut oil & corn flour, and a couple other things I don’t know off the top of my head, but nothing artificial or otherwise offensive.

Costco sells Popcornopolis Nearly Naked Popcorn – it’s Non-GMO popcorn and the only three ingredients are popcorn, coconut oil, and salt.

    Awesome.
