I saw in one of your posts that you recovered from an ED by just eating to appetite,3 square meal, couple of snacks. I have read the Your Eatopia forums and I see there they encourage 3000+ calories a day no matter what some ones situation is, though I enjoy reading the blog post and forums there, that type of recovery seems a little unrealistic to me, instead I follow the same type of approach as you.. eat when hungry till full. I have quite bad water retention and have overshoot my pre ED weight about 10-15 pounds (went from 80 pounds to 130)
My question for you is, how long did it take you for your body to finally calm down and return to its natural weight? Also do feel as though your body was able to properly recover its metabolism without have to consciously follow a set amount of calories?
