I couldn’t figure out where to put this, so I’m putting it here.
My husband has a super fast metabolism. I’m sure of this because he’s always hot, and is naturally strong, even without working out. However, he’s overweight. He started gaining during my first pregnancy (I have read Matt’s article on this). I lost the weight, he didn’t. He cut out diet sodas and lost about 25 pounds, but nothing since then. He tried gluten-free (whole foods style, just basically no bread), but that didn’t seem to affect him positively or negatively so he stopped. He has never limited his diet. The only thing is that his job is very sedentary, and because he gets so HOT all of the time, he can’t get himself out of the house to exercise.
I just can’t figure out why he gained all of the weight despite his great metabolism. Stress? His only other issue that I can figure is sleep- he has deviated septum and doesn’t sleep very deeply. Could that be enough to contribute towards the weight gain and prevent losing it?
