I’ve got a 2018 Wrangler that runs perfectly fine on the highway but as soon as I get stuck in afternoon traffic around Khalifa City or near the airport, the temperature gauge starts creeping up to the 3/4 mark and it makes me nervous every single time. The cooling fan kicks in but it just doesn’t seem to bring it down fast enough. I’ve already checked the coolant level and it’s fine, and there’s no visible leaks underneath. Before I start replacing random parts like the thermostat or water pump, I really want someone who actually understands these Pentastar engines to take a proper look. Does anyone know if there are Certified Jeep Technicians Abu Dhabi who can run a proper diagnostic on the cooling system rather than just throwing parts at it? I’ve heard some shops will immediately say “change the radiator” without even pressure testing anything, and I don’t want to get ripped off. Just hoping to find somebody who knows the common weak points on these JK cooling systems and can tell me exactly what’s wrong the first time. Really appreciate any suggestions from folks who’ve dealt with similar overheating scares.
