I have been trying to eat plenty of carbohydrates but i just seem to be getting BAD hypoglycemia. i literly can sleep all day. and at night i think i wake up due to hypogycemia
i hav decided to take magnesium supplments again. I was feeling horibble and had sweaty armpits before and just after taking one i feel so much better and the sweats stopped. I have been taking in mega amounts of calcium lately to see if it helps and i guess its just bad for me. so im stopping calcium and taking magnesium again :) i was thinking of low carb but i am still going to hang on here. its just in the morning i wake up eat brekfast then pass out for a couple hours after carbohydrates so i wll pop a magnesium first then have breakfast and tell u what happens
How long have you been doing this caz? Is the fatigue/pass out after breakfast what is bothering you? I experienced this for the first few weeks of refeeding and now it seems to be improving. Remember fatigue post meal isn’t always a bad thing. It’s like that your meal is working to shut down the stress hormones.
Hang in there and try not to do anything extreme. Try and quiet your mind and let the body do the work.
Hope your feeling a bit better.
That’s great, Caz. Also, you may want to make sure you are getting enough salt. I realized that what I thought was hypoglycemia was actually hyponatremia. The symptoms are the same. When I upped my salt a LOT it disappeared.
