I have been taking zinc this week and i have noticed better skin, much better sleep and also a little weight loss? But i have found it doesn’t have much effect unless enough protein is taking with. i say at least 40 grams or 50 a day of protein.
I’d like to know, too. I’ve heard of it as an appetite booster, but don’t know much about it, otherwise. When I was having trouble about a year ago, I had all kinds of blood tests thru an ND. My copper was slightly higher than zinc, and I know it’s supposed to be the other way around. He wasn’t too worried about it, I guess it wasn’t a big enough difference to raise a red flag. But I have thought about trying some zinc supplementation.
