Ive found a recipe for coconutbread and it calls for 3cups shredded coconut to blend very finely. So,i was wondering if instead i can substitute with 3cups coconutflour, since i dont have a blender? Or do i need to adjust amount of flour?
Until now, everything i tried. Baking with the flour i ended up throwing away bc the flour formed lumps and no real doughsubstance. Yet its the only flour i can use.

I think I have a recipe for coconut bread that uses coconut flour so I would think yes.

Dutchie, I can’t find that recipe, but I think you can use coconut flour in yours. I did find a recipe for coconut flour pie crust. Here it is in case you would like totry it.

    1/2 cup melted butter
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp salt
    3/4 cup coconut flour
    1-3 tbs honey
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix melted butter, eggs, & honey together, add salt & coconut flour. Stir till dough holds together. Gather into a ball & pat into 9″ greased pie pan. Prick with fork. Bake 9 minutes & cool.

Here is one for coconut flour pancakes.

    3 eggs
3 tbs butter or melted coconut oil
3 tbs coconut milk or whole milk
1 1/2 tsp sugar or honey
    1/4 tsp salt
    3 tbs coconut flour
    1/2 tsp baking powder

Whisk eggs, melted butter or oil, milk, sugar & salt together. Add baking powder & coconut flour until thoroughly mixed. Heat 1 tbs butter in skillet and pour batter in for pancakes.

@Linda Thanx for the recipes:) I’ve found several boards on Pinterest with coconutflour recipes. I only think it’s too bad, that virtually all recipes require eggs and lots of them also combine almondflour
