Please correct me if Im wrong. Im trying to figure out my current condition and how to augment.
Body (hands, feet, ears) heat, concentrated urine (good yellow color) are the two signs of a good metabolism.
I want to start a discussion so I can clear up any confusion. Im a bodybuilder but just for hobby I dont compete. Right now Im trying to learn this new information so I can continue and actually speed up my cutting (fat burning) progress.
You should take your temperature– aim for waking temps at or above 98.0 (take before you drink anything).
The things that I have found raise metabolism (temps, energy, general well-being) are making sure I get 8+ hours of sleep, eating a lot of carbs like potatoes and rice w/ salt or eating a lot of fruit. I was low-carb before and this made me pack on some weight at first, but it did start making me feel better immediately and look better over time.
