So I have been Eating for Heat for nearly two weeks and my morning temps have increased from a previous 35.4(!) to 36.1 and my hands are starting to get warmer (although not my feet). I have a long history of dieting/aggressive bingeing (including two bouts of 4 months on 500 cals a day of just meal replacements) so I’m sure my metabolism is screwed up. However, I guess my ‘only’ symptoms of this would be my cold extremities, nith-time urination and also I’m not getting pregnant (although i have a bmi of 38). Since starting this way of eating, however, I am having trouble sleeping. I’ve always been a great sleeper (except for waking for the toilet about 4am) however I am now waking two or three times a night. Anyone else experience anything like this? T

Hi AnnieAnnie, I also wake up 2-3 times a night. I have been trying to correct it for many months but get nowhere. I was making progress with my temps the 1st 2 months and have since stalled out. It is going on 7 months now since I started with eat for heat. I don’t know what to tell you. For sleep I even tried someone’s suggestion of a glass of wine before bed. Nope, nothing. Here’s hoping we restless sleepers can get there so we can fully recover.

@AnnieAnnie i used to wake up a lot too to pee,in the past.
Now its gone and i sleep an uninterrupted 7 sometimes 8hours every nigth.
this steady sleep pattern for me started when i took out all starches. for me it seems it was heavily related to what i guess bloodsugar swings&crashes which apparently all starches.
