ParticipantSince cutting down fluids I have been dreaming about swimming and craving being submerged in water. Ive been craving gizzling heaps og water. however brfore i knew i needed to watch my water intakevi didnt have these cravings. i think we tend to want what we cabt have. If my mouth gets way too dry I swish it out with some water and spit it out. Might help?
It’s amazing what the mind can come up with.July 10, 2013 at 11:27 pm #8291Seneca
ParticipantI’m having a hard time now, just because it’s summer. Unfortunatly during rrarfing I have a physical job and need to stay hydrated and there’s this line I feel I’m having to walk. It’s no longer “how much water can I power down?” Definitely was easier during cool weather because I never really bought into that whole drink when not thirsty thing.

ParticipantSame here. I felt really thirsty after dinner today, thinking that I can drink because of the food and so I went ahead and had 1/2 small glass of water and soon afterwards I felt anxious, numerous trips to the toilet all the while I felt the physical symptom of thirst and eating anything salty seemed totally unacceptable to me feeling thirsty. I remembered, however what Matt said, and the airlines getting it right with salty peanuts in a situation like that, so I forced myself to have a handful of salty corn chips and amazingly, anxiety and feelings of thirst and the need to urinate went away immediately. How bizarre! I guess on this occasion you can’t really on biofeedback, as that would get me into more trouble urging me to be drinking more! What’s up with that? I wonder what else I believe to be biofeedback when in fact I could be totally wrong!

ParticipantFirst post! I’m not sure how I initially found my way to Matt Stone, but I am a formal low carb under eater and I have sneaked a peak every so often but never spent a few hours exploring…until today. Lot’s of info on this forum, but I can’t find a lot of info elsewhere. Like all this talk about restricting fluids. Why? Where do I learn about why/how this is beneficial?
Please advise.

ParticipantWell I can say after your metabolism is up you can drink a lot more, indeed you have to. I’m back to making sure I get enough(I am outside a lot).
