OK, I flipped through the forum and haven’t seen this asked. I am literally sweating right now and took my temps and I am 96.5, then 97.1, then 96.3. Why is that? My hands and feet aren’t cold and it’s about 76 degrees in the house at the moment, humid outside but not inside. I find I am this way often, I am not over dressed either, just a tank top and shorts.

This happens to me a lot, but over the past 7 months it seems like my temp that triggers sweating seems to get higher and higher. Raising my temps has been a slow process though. No raises in temp unless I ate myself into a coma. About 4 months ago I would start sweating when my temps were 97’s, but now I don’t seem to sweat until my temps are in the 98’s. I don’t check much anymore, but if my mouth is dry my oral temps seem kinda low. Once my oral temp (warmed up first in my hand and left in for two minutes) was 96.3. I was sweating and hot though and tried an anal reading for the first time and it was 99.3.

I’ve been waking up warm lately, but morning is my coldest time of the day. That being said, my waking temp has never been in the 97’s, so I just kinda ditched taking my temps now that I have been doing this for a while.

In the morning I have gotten 98.1 for 2 days in a row. Those temps I took were mid day after lunch. Interesting though. Thanks for the input.

Well, today I was averaging 98.4 all day, I woke up 97.7…..tomorrow will be my 3rd day in! I was sweating all day and never got that 96 degree dip. I must be doing something right!!
